The Manor is a magnificent and historic Tudor residence of outstanding beauty. Built of Northamptonshire stone, it nestles within the very popular tourist village of Braunston, synonymous with the Grand Union Canal. The Manor has been owned by the same family for over a century. Today, Braunston Manor offers high quality hotel accommodation, conference rooms and is a perfect wedding venue to hold your special occasion. Guests have full use of the splendid grounds surrounding our manor house. Hotel accommodation comprises of 6 bedrooms within the manor house itself, and a further 4 in our beautifully restored cottage wing. A Grade 2 Listed Building, The Manor has won a prestigious award for its loving restoration and maintenance, which has made our hotel a popular location. We also have 2 rooms licensed to hold civil weddings. As one of the more popular wedding venue in Daventry for smaller weddings, we can only hold one per day. Booking early as possible is a must to avoid disappointment. Our canal side location not only sets us apart from other wedding venues, but also other conference rooms. We have 3 well equipped conference rooms of various sizes to suit any use from an interview to a seminar. Better still, you don’t need to worry about getting back to the city, with hotel accommodation available to make for a relaxing day or two away from the traffic. Our rural setting is a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, though with the same creature comforts such as high speed internet access and good food. We are well connected with the M1, M6, M45 and A45 roads, and the Grand Union Canal (mooring facilities a short walk away). The nearest railway stations are Long Buckby and Rugby (15 minutes drive) with local services within Northamptonshire and longer distance trains to Birmingham New Street and London Euston. For rural idyll a few minutes away from the city, The Manor is a perfect wedding venue and place for business meetings and short breaks with hotel accommodation in spacious and well restored rooms.
